We absolutely love this kind of wear. It gives the watch a seriously cool, almost military, utilitarian vibe — as though it has spent the last 50 years doing something rather than sitting in a safe.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-renderer-start-pos=\"843\"\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-renderer-start-pos=\"1156\"\u003eThe black dial is pure Porsche Design: three sub-dials, a military-style day\/date display and almost nothing that doesn’t need to be there. The orange chronograph hand has faded beautifully over the decades, while the lume plots have developed a lovely yellow patina, adding another great touch of colour to an otherwise very monochromatic watch.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-renderer-start-pos=\"1156\"\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-renderer-start-pos=\"1504\"\u003eThe day wheel is in English, and this example also carries the rarer red 3H marking on the dial.
