Rolex Air-King Concentric Blue Dial Ref. 114200

The Rolex Air-King is often overlooked in favor of more popular Rolex collections such as the Submariner, Daytona, or even the Datejust, which was released the same year as the Air-King in 1945. However, as an "entry-level" Rolex, the Air-King offers an intriguing value proposition, particularly for watch enthusiasts, as it remains one of the few vintage Rolex models that still cost less than the average car. This more contemporary version features a very cool, seldom-seen dial variant—a so-called "Concentric Blue Dial"—with the inner part of the dial featuring a circular finish and the outer part featuring a soleil finish. It has no lume and daring, bold Arabic numerals in orange.

Furthermore, there is an unusual rounded text around the concentric part of the dial, and the hands also have no lume, matching the unique design. It's very unusual for a Rolex watch, yet it proudly carries the tradition of the lovely "Air-King" font that we love! The watch has been fully checked and regulated by our watchmaker.
