Introducing the Lucca Collection

Bulang & Sons was born out of Bernhard Bulang’s desire to source the very finest quality watch accessories and since our inception, in 2012, we have worked in partnership with Jean Paul. It was clear after Bernhard’s first few visits to Jean Paul’s workshop that they would form a personal and business relationship formed through a mutual love and appreciation for beautifully handmade watch accessories.

It is important to us that we offer our clients unique products which have been lovingly created by way of all the sources of inspiration that make Bulang & Sons what it is today.

We are delighted to invite you to follow us on one of trips to see Jean Paul and give you an intimate insight into one of these journeys in Lucca, Italy…

At Bulang & Sons we have always preferred, wherever possible, to create exclusive leathers and styles, instead of simply selecting our products out of an already existing collection or catalogue. Our personal relationship with Jean Paul has enabled us to realise our visions and ideas through his world0-renowned artisan skills.

A Tuscan Love Story

One of our strongest inspirations has always been the breathtaking spirit of Tuscany and especially the city of Lucca.

The wonderful landscape, the people, the food, the architecture… simply the whole “Bella Vita“ is what inspires us everytime we visit the workshop to work on our new products.

Inspirational Lucca

To celebrate this longtime relation with this area and the incredible people, we proudly present to you all the Lucca Collection.

The Lucca Collection will be, from now on, a permanent line within the Bulang & Sons portfolio.

Our vision for the Lucca Collection is products made for us by Jean Paul that are a reflection of our inspirations, often gained through travel adventures, but always authentically Bulang & Sons.

The city of Lucca is steeped in history – the raw and honest attitude of the buildings, walls, doors are a testament to the rich heritage of this magical place. The patina and way in which this town wears its age in such a noble way led to an explosion of ideas and inspiration, which we believe we have captured in our latest work.

Limited Leathers

In the majority of cases, the Lucca Collection will feature specially sourced, exclusive to B&S leathers and materials.

Some of these hand-picked, vegetable tanned leathers are so rare, or simply impossible to reproduce, that we can only do short runs of the items made from these materials. Remember, these exclusive Bulang & Sons may only be available for a short time – when they’re gone they’re gone!

At Bulang & Sons our aim is to innovate and create new and interesting ideas and concepts – this has become one of our signatures. This eclectic mixing of styles and themes, of which we are the original pioneers, makes B&S unique in the market…a true lifestyle brand.
