Let’s break down what we have here:
-Housed in an elegant 18k yellow gold two-piece case, measuring 35mm.
-Hours, minutes, and a center-sweep second hand, all blued, cool-shaped, and lumed for easy legibility.
Date, day, and month: Each displayed on separate recessed subdials, with blued hands and German-language indicators for the month and day.
-A two-digit year display, subtly recessed near the 1 o’clock marker.
-A classic moonphase complication, adding a touch of charm and mystery.
-An "Idiot Light": A handy indicator just below the month subdial that glows red during the "danger zone" (10 PM to 3
AM), warning against adjusting the time or date during this period, which could potentially damage the movement.
-All of this is set against the backdrop of a glossy white dial, with a contrasting light blue minute track that enhances the overall elegance of the watch.
There’s a lot happening here, but we think it’s still very balanced. The watch comes on a Bulang and Sons strap with an 18k yellow gold JLC pin buckle. Powered by an automatic JLC 889/1/440 movement, which has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
