The Inside Story

The 1972 Olympic mono-pusher chrono…

This is a very cool and interesting Longines chronograph that was launched as part of the brand’s celebrations for being the official timing partner of the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich.
The steel case measures 36x41mm and has a single chronograph pusher, for the whole start/stop/reset timing process. The watch, in line with the heritage of these Olypic timers, does not feature runnings seconds, only a 30-minute chrono sub-dial.

The silver dial has a blue seconds track and a vibrant orange stopwatch hand – so 70s and so funky! The case back features a commemorative Olympic engraving. The watch will come on the pictured Bulang and Sons leather strap and has been fullychecked and regulated by our watchmaker.
