The Inside Story
This a very interesting early Oyster with a cushion shaped case. The case measures 31mm, but due to the shape it really does wear a lot bigger; it feels more like a 36mm watch on the wrist. These watches are often compared to Panerai cases, which Rolex made in the early days.
The case is in original and strong condition and even has the original “ROLEX OYSTER” winding crown. The dial has turned a burnt orange hue, likely due to radium burn over the years, and it its striking! The watch is fitted with a Bulang and Sons steel Beads-of-Rice bracelet that we believe is a super cool match with the watch. The movement has been fully checked and regulated by our watchmaker.
