The Bubble Won’t Burst…
The Tudor Submariner Date ‘snowflake’ dial and hands is one of the coolest watches for watch lovers and this reference 7021/0 is a great example. This early Sub Date has the original black dial with cool so-called ‘bubble’ finish, which brings out blue tones, and a gentle patina on the hour markers. The hands are a good match and the second hand has have been stabilised at some point, which is quite common and stops the lume breaking away. The watch has its original roulette date wheel fitted, which is a nice touch on these early Tudor Sub Dates. The fat font insert has a faded effect - we are unsure if this is natural or not, but it looks very cool! The folded-link Oyster bracelet is in good condition and is fitted with ref 380 endlinks. The watch has been fully checked by our watchmaker.
