Strap Guide – The Seiko 6306/6309 Turtle

Turtle Time

First introduced in 1976, the Seiko Turtle first appeared as reference 6306 and then 6309. Featuring the winding crown at four o’clock, this became a signature look for the Turtle and subsequent Seiko dive watches. The large case acts has a recessed area for the winding crown, which negates the need for crown guards and gives a smooth silhouette. The rotating bezel is a standard issue vintage dive watch essential. These watches are super cool and a key focus for collectors at the moment.
