A 60’s inspired diving chronograph…
In the 1960s there were many companies making dive watches to cater to the huge growth of participation in recreational diving.
One such company is Aquastar, a brand that collectors of dive watches have loved for many years.
In 2020 the iconic Deepstar was launched as a limited re-edition and this watch is number 077 from that long sold out release. The 40.5mm steel case, that screams 1960s, is in superb original condition. The grey soleil dial has a running seconds at nine and a 30-minute chronograph counter at three. The bezel has two, independent sections – one to time elapsed time and another to tell you your required decompression time if you were to undertake a second dive on the same day; a clever tool for keen divers.
The watch comes on the original rubber strap, with both inner and outer boxes, guarantee card, and certificate confirming an October 2020 sale date. Our watchmaker has fully checked and regulated the La Joux-Perret automatic movement.
