The Inside Story
The Patek Philippe Calatrava 570 certainly deserves some historical context. First introduced in 1938, the 570 was essentially a larger version (35.5mm) of the iconic Patek Philippe ref. 96. Incidentally, the ref. 96 made its debut in 1932as the very first Calatrava. The reference 570 was produced in a variety of materials, including three colors of 18K gold, platinum, and even steel, with various models offering either central or small seconds.
As for the dials, there were many variations. Some of the most notable include sector dials, Breguet numerals, and a few even rarer versions.
What we have here is a beautiful 18K yellow gold version with a snap-back case, featuring a silver dial with applied indexes and a sophisticated "dot-dot" three-dimensional minute track. The dial also boasts perfect dauphine handsand a small running seconds hand at 6 o'clock.
The watch is fitted with an elegant leather strap and an 18K gold Patek Philippe pin buckle.
The watch is accompanied by an Extract from the Archives, stating a sale in 1957. The manual-wind caliber 12.400 is in pristine condition and has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.

We offer a one-year warranty on the mechanical function of the watch, starting from the day of purchase. We do not guarantee the waterproof nature of any (vintage) watch, unless expressly made in writing. Therefore, our warranty will not cover any damage done to the case and/or movement by water or moisture entering the watch. Our warranty does not apply to accidental damage or mishandling of your watch and does not extend to the bracelet, case parts (including pushers, winding stem, crown and bezel), watch glass, dial and hands.
