The Inside Story

Sultan Qaboos bin Said of Oman was famous for commissioning and collecting exclusive watches featuring the national emblem of Oman, with the Khanjar dagger and swords, which he presented as gifts to distinguished individuals. While there were IWC, Patek Philippe, and other brands, he is most notably associated with Rolex watches!

Here, we have a beautiful Datejust reference 16030, featuring a lovely case and a Champagne-colored dial with a bright red Khanjar dagger, swords, and the Royal crown in the lower half of the dial. The case is in excellent condition, as is the steel reeded bezel. This fine Datejust is fitted with a nice reference 62150H Jubilee bracelet, with end links marked 555B and a clasp stamped. The quickset movement has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.

As always, the Datejust continues to be one of the standout pieces in our collection here at Bulang & Sons.

We’d be delighted to have you visit our lounge or are happy to go over the details with you over the phone. Don’t hesitate to reach out whenever it’s convenient for you!
