The Zenith-Powered First Automatic Rolex Daytona

In 1988, Rolex unveiled their new iteration of the Daytona. It was a cool watch that captured the imagination of the watch buying public and it became one of the most desirable watches on the planet. The 16520 was actually the watch that began the mythical Rolex Waiting List – read our new article here! This example is in really beautiful condition, with a strong case with full lugs. The white dial, is what traditionally known as a Mk4 – tritium lume and the ‘6’ in the hours register the correct way up. The original solid link Oyster bracelet, ref 7839a, is in good condition,has polished middle links and a clasp stamped ‘OP9’. The watch comes with a Rolex Service Centre card from February 2016 as well as booklets, wallet and hang tag. Read all about Zenith powered Daytonas here.
